ARTIST INFORMATION
King Gnu、Vaundy、Mrs.GREEN APPLE、SEKAI NO OWARIなどのアーティストのライブサポートや楽曲制作に携わるミュージシャンであり、映画『鬼滅の刃 』『君の名は。』、アニメ、ゲームのレコーディングなども行うヴァイオリニスト亀井友莉とチェリスト村岡苑子で結成したユニット。
2020年の結成後から都内を中心にオリジナル曲からタンゴまで幅広いレパートリーでライブ活動をする。
ヴァイオリンとチェロという弦楽器にしかできない、新しい音楽ジャンルを追求する。
2023年に1st mini album 『Sail On』をリリース。
2025年2月にはCOTTON CLUBにて満員でライブを開催した。
The unit formed by violinist Yuri Kamei and cellist Sonoko Muraoka, have worked on numerous stages ranging from live support musicians to artists, such as King Gnu, Vaundy, Mrs.GREEN APPLE and SEKAI NO OWARI, and as studio musicians on recordings for anime, games and movies, such as, “Demon Slayer” and “Your Name”, which are renowned movies in Japan.
Since their formation in 2020, they have been performing live mainly in Tokyo, with a wide repertoire ranging from original compositions to tango.
They pursue and challenge a new musical genre that only the two stringed instruments can create.
1st mini album “Sail On” released in 2023.
In February 2025, they held a live concert at CottonClub (Tokyo) in a full house.
